Gone but not forgotten!Even though they haven’t been made in decades, Favilla guitars are still highly regarded in the music world. From the time brothers John and Joseph Favilla came to America from Italy and started the business in the late 1800’s, until the last guitar was crafted in the 1980’s, several generations of Favillas made guitars and other string instruments that were of high quality and reasonably priced.Andy Cagnetta, great-grandson of John Favilla, is doing his part to help keep the Favilla legacy alive. In this book, Andy and his cousin Tom, the last Favilla guitar maker, along with several guitar experts, share stories about Favilla’s history, how the guitars were crafted, and some of the celebrities who were Favilla fans.Whether you’re a serious guitar collector or a casual guitar player, this book will help you learn the value of Favilla guitars and develop a new appreciation for them.
